Becker CPA Review Mock Exam Score vs Actual CPA Exam Score

I figured since so many people ask, it’d be easier to have it all in one thread for reference. Good idea?

Calculating this by taking the average MCQ*60% and average sim*40%

Like others have said, just because you struggle on the Mock Exams, doesn't mean you will not have a chance at passing the real exam. I would do decent or sometimes pretty well on the multiple choice and fail the SIMs. The real sims on the actual exam are typically harder and require opening more documents, but sometimes Becker sim's are too specific and worded weirdly. Don't give up or get discouraged by mock exams!!! Just keep studying and make notes out of questions you get wrong and keep reviewing those periodically. My 2 cents.

I likely won't use the mock exams again. It tests the material too widely, without regard for weighting in certain areas. For that reason, it is not a good barometer for how well you know the material that is likely to generate a disproportionate number of questions on the actual exam.
