Calculating this by taking the average MCQ*60% and average sim*40%

I did not feel like I bombed the exam, granted I have basically two tax seasons of experience with one being an internship and the other was my first full-time season. I think that real life experience helped me because the material wasn't new to me when I was studying with it. I was concerned because I didn't feel like I bombed it, and most people say if you feel like you bombed it, you most likely passed it. I have a friend who got mock exam scores that were in the same range as me, and he thought he totally bombed the exam. He ended up getting an 81. Said he didn't think he got any of the sims correct. Hope that helps!

On a side note, I have FAR next Friday and this is just a monster. Going through reviewing the material a 2nd time right now and hoping to take the first mock exam Monday and the 2nd on Wednesday for additional exposure to questions. I've heard they are testing heavily on Non Profit and Governmental, as long as it's not pensions and deferred tax assets and liabs I might be able to scrape up a 75.

For me, FAR was the easiest exam. Flash cards saved me and I had courses in college about consolidations, derivatives, and governmental accounting. If you are struggling with pensions, deferred tax assets, and derivatives, watch Alan Murasu's videos on YouTube. His videos saved me when I was in college. He describes the logic so well that you're able to fully understand the concepts.

I think his videos are 10x better than the Becker lectures. Try him out and let me know what you think.
