    Just curious – what are you good at?

    For me, I have found that people come to me to talk about their problems and get advice. Guess I’m a good listener, strong person, and don’t put up with crap from anyone. I wanted to be a psychiatrist when I was younger.

    I also think that I am good at dancing, in particular, tap dancing. It’s in the genes. My grandma used to teach line-dancing classes and my mom danced in college. I’m a dancin fool, lol.

    Everything I do, I tend to do it big. I think it's part of that typical Type A personality that accountants are said to have. Very excessive and over the top about everything. When I'm not doing accounting related things I like to create really elaborate meals, specifically three courses or more hahaha it soothes me because it's something I really like to do and I like seeing the results of my labor. I'm also really creative about crafting (which I wish I had more time for these days), but I love making homemade gifts for my friends to go along with the gifts that I buy. I recently made a alcoholic “nips” bouquet for a good friends 21st birthday and everyone was so floored by how cool it was. It's silly but I like making things, and it's a way to show those I love how much I care.

    Best/most fun place for me is the gym. Not running or anything like that, but actually moving weight. I guess I have motivation to do so when my younger brother is a few inches taller and about 80lbs heavier (he's a powerlifter).

    I'm athletic. I played volleyball at a Division 1 school. It kind of sucks b/c I try to keep it a secret, but I'm so tall so people always ask if I played a sport. Although it's a great conversation topic with clients when they ask b/c we can talk about sports for hours.
