Just curious – what are you good at?

For me, I have found that people come to me to talk about their problems and get advice. Guess I’m a good listener, strong person, and don’t put up with crap from anyone. I wanted to be a psychiatrist when I was younger.

I also think that I am good at dancing, in particular, tap dancing. It’s in the genes. My grandma used to teach line-dancing classes and my mom danced in college. I’m a dancin fool, lol.

Seriously, if they made better money, I'd be a dog trainer. I love training my chocolate lab to do funny tricks. He can ring the doorbell, but then he barks as if someone is at the door. Makes me smile everytime. 🙂

True story: My husband and I went to DQ's drive thru one day. The window had a sign that said “We have the best milkshakes.” While the server was putting ice-cream in our cones my husband asked “Does your milkshake bring all the boys to the yard?” The server was a black woman, my husband is white, I sat there waiting for her to slap him across the face. I was so embarrassed…Good thing she had a good sense of humor.

Hmmm..

1. I'm 25. I own a house. A new car. And manage my parents' business.

2. I'm a singer. I have performed competitively and received awards. Now I'm in a barbershop performing at state levels.

3. I run 10-20 Kilometers. That's about 6-12 miles for you Americans.

4. I'm a gym nut. Have a well-defined body.

That's about it, right now. I feel like I can do so much better. Sometimes I feel as if I'm limiting my potential by not doing much. Granted, I'm 25, and I've been through a lot, but even then, there are so many young people who have done so much more – Michael Phelps, Lebron James…They are my inspiration. I want to be a recording artist. I just wanna get my CPA done, audit production companies, and see what connections I can make through them…
