Hello fellow future-CPA, I have a question about the exam score. This is my first time taking the CPA exam, I received my score on BEC & REG today, 82 and 85 respectively. the status is displayed on ILBOA.org as “P” but the score is advisory until review by official meeting ( or something like that according to the website).
Does that mean I passed those 2 parts ? it'd be embarrassing to celebrate now and not passing the exam when final score is out.
Thanks and good luck to you all

Yeah, @marqzho…I was wondering the same thing! For some reason, I thought we got our scores the day after. I've been mentally preparing for the 22nd, but I would LOVE if we got our scores tomorrow instead! 🙂

@Claudia408, In my experience, CA releases scores the morning after the scheduled release date….the 21st would be awesome though so I'll hope for that.

Here has been my experience. (NEVADA).

Everyone gets their scores the night of Score release. So on the westcoast that's usually 10PM (1AM EST). I'm on these boards looking at everyone posting their scores in excitement. Then I have to go to sleep and wake up around 6AM or so PST and Nevada usually has them posted, so that would be 6AM on 6/21/2016.

@marqzho, CA releases and updates the scores on the release date which is the 21st. So tomorrow at approx 6AM the scores will be released.

You cannot have success without failure. Success is hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it. But it's the "hard" that makes it great!

The scores are released at 1am Eastern Time. Because CA is not a NASBA state, you have to wait until the next morning, which is still the 21st, for the score to show up in your exam account. It should be up sometime between 5am – 7am.

Also, advisory scores are your actual score, it is just your score posted before they post the scoring report. Once the scoring report is available, it should no longer be labelled as “advisory”.

    REG - 2/19/16 - 77!
    BEC - 4/16/16 - 79!!
    AUD - 6/04/16 - 84!!!
    FAR - 8/31/16
