@Dina83
I am in accounting major and I have almost 8 years experience in business and not-for-profit (not public accounting). Ready text word by word, do lots of MCQs, and practice some SIMs. Most important, understand the concepts. I spent 2 and a half months because I work full time and sometimes I need to work overtime. I originally scheduled FAR in September, but my prometric center had network problem for that week. Then I scheduled at beginning of October. Between September and my exam date, I did not study a lot but I consistently ready text or do some MCQs. Practice or reading helped me retaining the concepts. The day or two before my exam, I felt I could not study any more, and I felt I could not have any more information come into my mind.
I do not have audit experience. When I took auditing courses in college, I feel I did not really understand it until this time I did review study for AUD. The same study method I used for my AUD. Understanding concepts is important.
