    Yeah they're not delayed due to the storm. Judging by their respective locations, NASBA and the AICPA have been affected minimally at best by the storm.

    @brou18 – I was just licensed in November and did not have to complete an ethics course other than the AICPA course to qualify for licensure. From your VA BOA link: “If the applicant has not held a CPA License of any other state and applies for a Virginia license after the end of the calendar-year in which the applicant passed the CPA Exam, CPE must be obtained PRIOR to applying for a Virginia license. CPE includes the annual Virginia-specific ethics course.” The VA specific course is not required until you are required to complete CPE, which does not occur until the calender year after you complete the exam. “No CPE is required for initial licensure if obtained in the same calendar-year in which the applicant passed the CPA Exam.” The firm I work for encourages us to use the VSCPA's ethic's course found here https://www.vscpa.com/Content/education_networking/ethics_course/default.aspx

    Well shoot, I forgot today could be the day til a coworker asked if I passed. Now I can't stop clicking again! Every time I click I have a tiny heart attack. It's like putting my hand on a hot stove, yet I can't stop doing it.

    Perhaps lunch is in order…I can't click if I'm not at my computer.

    @IcyRose23 …..if you didn't get a response, I believe the delay in BEC is caused by the manual scoring of the SIMS. At least that's what I've heard from some people here. FYI, my scores for BEC were not delayed, so, I hope yours won't need to be.

    It doesnt even make sense to delay scores due to a storm! REALLLLY?

    An external envionmental factor such as a storm has nothing to do with an online updating system of punching in numbers/grades such as me typing now!

    Just an FYI…my co-worker has a 491 FAR for LA. He took in in the 9th month of the NTS lol

    BEC - Nov '12 - 74, Jan '13 - 82!!
    REG - Feb 28, 2013 - 74, Apr 18th - 74, July 6th - 76!!

    @Shan I hope they don't delay! I had to brave the crappy roads this morning to drop my kiddo off at a friend's house and go to work! I'm about to head back out and pick her up then work from home! Wish me luck and I almost feel like telling you to text me when scores release! hahaha

    @BarrE – It's an insane ride you are getting on, but I know the payoff at the end is worth it. In my case, though I am only two scores away right now, if things really go poorly, I could myself having to take FAR, BEC again for not passing in this window, and then AUD is going to expire…lol…Really hoping THAT doesn't happen….

    However, success is a journey, so even if things go poorly, I will keep working until I am a CPA!
