my 2 cents on big 4 – if i'm looking at your resume, and i can see you were only there 1-2 years, i know you spent it auditing only cash…or AR, didn't make senior (which may be why you left), and didn't see much in your time there. if i see a smaller firm on your resume, i know you got more experience in that same timeframe.

so if you're gonna roll big 4, commit yourself to at least a few years. bc those established in the corp world know what 1-2 years really means, and we're unimpressed #mckaylamaroney We've seen your kind get rotated on our own audits, and we have to train you up every year. i'm not saying there isn't a TON to learn there. i'm just saying commit yourself to a few years and really make it worthwhile. that will definitely open more doors.
