@MJCPA – that is interesting information. I am still waiting for BEC, looks like they held back a lot from BEC. I have very little hope left, guessing 80% chance of fail 20% pass. Logic would dictate that if the computer graded you 75% or higher they would release you or below 70%. Why hold you back. If you are in the 70-74 they might think the computer missed being on point and let a human read it. This is just a guess, I have had plenty of time to formulate different reasons!!

Hey we didnt fail yet, it's better than failing already, I guess. Hope is better than nothing at this point.

@Givemesleep ، I agree 100% with u … I had similar experience and ended up with 72 , hope this time they give me 75 , this is the 3rd time doing BEC …

Ahmad let us know when you find out. This small group of BEC people are my only therapy. I would gladly take a 70 than a 74. I dont think reading my essays by a human is going to help me. I was propably comparative not outstanding in my writing.

@Givemesleep — I've put some thought in, given the BEC release was 2,000 – 3,000 tests less than AUD, FAR and REG, and I'm wondering:

If I understand correctly, ALL BEC writing is human-scored at least once after the system score (that must be an interesting piece of software to read for grammar and content, side note).

What's the lead-time for the human readers? For those of us who tested at the end of the window, we can assume the BEC readers work on a rolling basis, so the 15 – 25 might be done or close, but maybe longer for use in the class of 5/31?

Assuming the number of testers per Section is moderately comparable…I would assume another couple thousand BEC scores stand to be released, and if that's the case they represent a full 30% of the complement of BEC testers….I hope that doesn't mean 30% of the testers are “on the bubble”, (some, sure, but hopefully not all?) maybe it's just part of the typical release time frame?

I don't know, just postulating….

@givemesleep or anyone who's been through a BEC delay? Thoughts?

TX folks – I received my BEC score this morning, (via email), and it is also posted to the TSBPA website. 87! I was very unsure whether it was going to be a pass or fail, so I was very pleased. (Took 5/30 – so no big delay for those taking in the last few days of the window)

This was my first so now off to do more studying!

I've read so much and am so confused by the whole BEC score relsease process, everybody seems to have had a different experience with it….. Some people say they are holding borderline scores, but at least one person out there has said they've seen an 90 come out in the second wave. I guess I will just have to accept that this is one of the mysteries of the universe that no one will ever understand!

71 Audit. It wasn't that bad, to be honest. I knew I failed only because of personal problems and distractions came up for this exam. Things happen, I will try even harder than I did for FAR. Back to toiling.

IL AUD 65? Wow, that was the only time I've ever felt confident leaving the testing center. Pure shock right now. I know I nailed the simulations, and I flew through the MCQ's. This just doesn't seem right.

Waiting BEC in Ohio, i hope the writing is not Graded by human, its my last one and i cant wait to be done and burn all the books i have and the CD's
