So they have all of Monday – Wednesday but do not think they can release it until the Monday after Thanksgiving? I fail to believe it can be that big of an issue that it would take that long to fix.
Called NASBA and said they are working on the issue but to deal with the state board directly. Talked to the state board and got a vague runaround answer per usual. In fact, they say that NASBA hasnt sent CBA the scores, which I don't believe as my acocunt says “CBT Exam Attendance received from NASBA.”
when I log onto the NASBA candidate portal I can see an option for sore review of REG.
Andrew, I still have a score review for AUD which I took last December. I got an 82. It says the score review expires 12/31/19, so not sure if the date should've been 12/31/18? But I have one and I passed it.
I also have REG there where the score review expires 1/30/20, which is the exam I am waiting for my score. I think it's just up there either way, and doesn't mean we failed, I hope.
(I took such a long break because I was in my third trimester when I took AUD…I was all determined to study on a 6 week maternity leave earlier this year and that did not happen haha…Now I'm running out of time, so I hope I can pass the remaining 3 before June. I'm sitting for BEC on 12/9 also)
BEC would be my last exam(scheduled 12/9 as well). Im waiting for reg and the wait is killing me. Beyond frustrating.
You would think the board would have found another way to release scores by now. Its ridiculous and the CBA is pretty unprofessional and nonchalant over the phone, if you ask me. I wish there was formal complaint process. CA really should have NASBA release scores.
CBA is currently replying to some twitter users. Copy pasting the same response over and over again.
“We will post the scores as soon as they become available. We do not have an ETA at this time. As the scores become available, they will automatically update on the client accounts.Thank you for your patience.”
Doesn't help with the current release, but maybe we can convince the CBA to allow NASBA to release scores in the future if we get enough signatures on this petition: https://chng.it/7NDpd56mrq (sign and share!)
Not sure what else to do – it's frustrating to not have our scores, not get consistent or reliable updates, and not have anywhere to complain or demand action.
So I emailed the CBA and what they told me is that they are working with NASBA to resolve the issue. Apparently they can only see what we see in our online portals. My guess is that there was a break in the sync between NASBA and CBA.
this is the most ridiculous thing ever…i’ve been checking since midnight last thursday…shouldn’t they get some penalties for what they did? just like we have to pay penalties for paying tax late lol.
This seriously should be pointed out as a Material Weakness in Internal Control.
Designed, but not implemented nor maintained properly.
Hope the state government has some kind of regulation to discuss such issues.
Plus, CA candidates pay higher exam fees comparing to those in other states, implying that we pay additional charge for the state's own candidate system. The whole thing is just inefficient.
