    @h0wdyus

    Incorrect

    The answer is B. Comparable sales.

    “The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

    Hi all,

    I'm starting my BEC studies today. Taking it Aug 29th, but I am not working so I plan to be studying full-time for the next 3 weeks. Has anyone on here been able to successfully study for and pass BEC in 3 weeks?

    Welcome amra

    What is the formula for elasticity of demand? What about elasticity of supply? What are their meanings?

    Price Elasticity of Demand – % change in Demand/% change in Price

    The higher the figure the more elastic a product is. Luxury goods have high elasticity of demands. Inferior goods would have low price elasticity of demand.

    Price Elasticity of Supply – % change in Supply/% change in Price

    The higher it is the more elastic.

    Forgot to add that substitute goods have a high supply elasticity of demand while compliment goods have a low supply elasticity of demand.
