    The answer is B. Comparable sales.

    “The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    I sat for BEC on 28 August, Thursday.

    First testlet : 30 minutes

    Second testlet : 50 minutes ( difficulty level is hard)

    Third testlet : 45 minutes

    Sim : 45 minutes

    Overall, i am happy with the test. The third testlet was hard and i struggled for time to finish them.

    Hope for the best.

    Here's what I faced..TODAY!!:((

    Testlet 1: ok…some tricky theory based MCQs…but manageable. (30 mins)

    Testlet 2: nightmare!!! super tricky calculations. had to guess on most of those..5-6 of them. then started doubting my other MCQs tooo…but left it to my gut to decide (45-50 min)

    Testlet 3: fair deal…(30 mins)

    WC: timed it for about 20 min each …not too hard. (read through becker sims this morning…thas all)

    I used Becker and Wiley…(wiley is good for IT and governance and some MCQs are different in all modules… did not overwhelm me like becker in general).overall the test was pretty balanced in terms of modules…

    Took it today. Finished in 2 hours 15 minutes which is standard for me. Finished REG and FAR with over an hour to go each and AUD with two hours to go.

    Took 20 minutes for the first two testlets and 30 for the third. Took almost an hour for the written communication because I couldn't think what to write. No idea how I did. I hope I passed.

    Hey Random could you not sign in with your main account? For about 2 hours yesterday I couldn't sign in on the forum. It would just keep going to the home page like I hadn't even tried.

    No, I could sign in, and I was posting…but no one could see my posts. I know because I put up a test post and no one responded to it…

    It has happened to me before. Hence why I use randomALT and not Random. Jeff managed to fix it this time, and gave some great customer service in the process.

    Testing tomorrow at 5:30pm. I'm going to try to sweet-talk the prometric staff into getting my exam sent to NASBA by midnight so I can make it into the 9/9 release window…

    Took the first Becker final and got 83% on MCQ, then did the Optional MCQ for chapters 2, 3, 4 and 5…. Chapter 2 = 77% correct, Ch 3 = 79%, Ch 4 = 91 %, Ch 5 = 85%.

    Am I in a good position to pass tomorrow?

    REG: 84 on 4/18/14
    AUD: 93 on 5/29/14
    FAR: 90 on 8/8/14
    BEC: 91 on 8/31/14

    DONE!

    No my guess is Randomalt has been flagged as a spammer by either this site or another. If he looks up the email address that he registered his accout under in google his email address will likely pop up on one of the reportspam sites. It will probably tell him the site that reported him. He will then have to request that his IP address be removed. I only know this because it is an IT question in my BEC test bank šŸ™‚ Otherwise he will only be able to post from remote computers or while using an IP changing service.

    Passed all 4 exams in 2014!

    Thanks for giving me something to worry about šŸ˜› I take my test at 4:00pm tomorrow, but with there being a holiday on monday I am really nervous about having to wait until September 18th to get my score posted. Especially because I have a job fair on the 19th where I would like to have “Passed all 4 cpa exams” on my resume.

    Passed all 4 exams in 2014!
