@greg I am going to do a few practice written exercises today. I want to have a canned format response for each question, so that regardless of the question being asked, I can have a format that I'm going to use.

Thanks @NJ! I honestly have no idea how I'm going to do. With FAR, I just wanted more study time and with BEC, I just want it to be over. I'm bored with the study material (I dont like cost accounting) and I've done all the WTB and Becker questions, so when I do a progress test, I have seen most of the questions. I wish my test were today instead of Friday! Anyone else feel this way?

Cost accounting just makes me want to cry. I hear a lot of people struggle with auditing because its so different and its a whole different side of accounting.

That is cost accounting for me. I look at it and it looks like foreign language. I am great on COSO and Economics (haven't done financial yet), IT I am ok on also.

I wouldn't be sad if I never had to see cost accounting again. Its just horrible for me

@Amanda6_88 that's how I feel at the moment, ready to be done with this exam and move onto the next one. My test is Friday as well, and I've done over 2200MCQ, and a bunch of WC.

My format for the written comm's is something like this:

The purpose of this memo is to outline the pros/cons (or w/e the prompt says) of x (topic).

Then 2 paragraphs trying to hit as many of the keywords as possible.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding x. I would be happy to help with the implementation (or w/e the prompt requires).

I dont know what else to review. I think I'm getting dumber, the longer I study 🙂 I'm missing questions because I'm not reading them correctly or I'm just wanting to be done. I think my plan for today is to review IT some more, review B6 again (I suck at the hedging stuff, so hopefully there's not a lot on there), and then practice some written communication. I'll do a practice exam tomorrow and then go play tennis to relieve stress.

Hi Everyone, this is my second time taking BEC. My test is scheduled the 16th. Using Yaeger, Wiley and added Ninja test bank. I like the Ninja test bank and gives more feedback then the Wiley TB. With Ninja test bank I did one section at a time. Reviewed all question be for moving to the next section. After finishing I started using the MCQ Adaptive-Learning section and my dashboard scores have gone down. I can't seem to get into the review part. Am I doing something wrong? banging head against wall is not helping!!

I second this. I started feeling this way about a week ago. I'm reading MCQs and missing key details. Feeling bored with the material. I'm actually starting to second guess my answers that I know are correct. UGH! Tomorrow is the big day and it is what it is!

I'm done! First testlet was easy as heck, the second one was insane, the third was medium. And the writing was a piece of cake. I didn't even prepare for the writing portion, I just figured it would be based on what was already taught.

Peter I did the same thing! I decided to stop answering MCQ and just go over my notes and flash cards I made. I also sat in the car before the test and went over the ones I just couldn't get to stick. As soon as I got inside, I wrote the formulas on the scrap paper. This way you won't forget when the information is in front of you. Trust me when you take it, you're going to pay more attention to the words and not miss a thing. Good luck!

@iAmGoingToPass, I'm glad to hear it went well!! Any other last minute suggestions for those of us taking it the next few days? Today I've been re-doing the 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011 AICPA released questions, plus read the IT appendix and IA appendix, but I'm so tired of looking at BEC stuff -__-

I've memorized nearly all of the formulas and done at least 2500 MCQs. I honestly dont know how to study for the rest of the day. I guess just keep doing MCQs? I've practiced writing and think I have that down.
