    @h0wdyus

    Incorrect

    The answer is B. Comparable sales.

    “The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

    Really don't know how I did. I felt more exhausted coming out this time than last time if that means anything…haha. I definitely knew the material better this time.

    I can't believe I spelled “angle” wrong on my post…I must be tired…lol. Maybe I was thinking of an angel to come and save me as I was typing 😉

    Anyone take their exam midday as opposed to morning? I've always scheduled my exams for 8 or 9 am, so I never had a lot of time to study on the day of the exam. This time, I'm scheduled for 12:30.

    Any tips on what to do with all the time on the day of my exam? Do I review up until my exam? Do I do any MCQs? I'm so used to not reviewing anything on test day to keep from getting overwhelmed.

    Passed all sections.

    My exam is at 12:45pm tomorrow. I will probably eat a good breakfast, review my formulas and MAYBE do a few MCQs (like 30 or so) before the exam. Or I might just read my notes.

    Just got home and already studying. I didn't get as much done this weekend as I planned because I had a migraine all weekend. The same thing happened a week before I took FAR…stress is horrible! Anyways, I got through about 150 IT questions and 40 Financial Management questions and now my plan is to do B1 tonight, B2/B3 tomorrow, B4/B5 on Tuesday and B6 on Wednesday. I am getting questions right but still don't feel ready.

    OT: How many questions is everyone completing for BEC? I know it's a lighter section but I'm just curious. I've done about 1700 new questions (Becker and WTB), not including the progress tests I've done which have repeated questions.

    I'm at about 2000, but that includes all the progress tests that I've been doing, as well as the 2 final exams. Overall, according to my excel spreadsheet I'm averaging an 87.5% on MCQ, but my final exams (exam #1 – 82, exam #2 – 72) don't support that notion too heavily.

    I probably did over 2k as well between Wiley TB, book and NINJA. My average was 86% in Wiley.

    I have to get through BEC to get to AUD (it was my favorite class in undergrad, I had a really great professor). I went and peaked at the auditing material on Becker yesterday and found a little section that had 5 multiple choice homework's. I took them and got 4/5 (80%). I can't wait to get through BEC!

    I think between new and repeated questions, I've probably done around 2000. I still about 30% left in the WTB though. I've done a lot of progress tests in Becker plus I've used CPA Review for Free as a supplement.

    Between Roger and Ninja MCQ I am anywhere from 1800 – 2000 attempts. My exam is Friday afternoon. My current Ninja scores are about 5-6% lower than what I am doing in Roger.

    I just did a Ninja practice exam today. First one. Scored 75% total. 80% on the MCQ section. 70% on the written section, but I can't say that I agree on how Ninja scores the written section. You do the writing then are asked anywhere from 5-10 “probing” questions after each WC. Your score is based upon these probing questions. Odd…

    @CPAin14, don't say that. I just started it. =(

    At least there are only 120-odd some HW questions.

    @Amanda, I think Becker has around 1300 MCQs total. Add a little more for the practice tests. I have an old Wiley book that I might look at if I feel like I need more questions on my weaker topics, but I'm thinking 1300 MCQs + the BEC notes that Jeff sold for a dollar should be enough.
