    Incorrect

The answer is B. Comparable sales.

“The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

Are you able to answer all the MCQ in 2 hours. What about the ones with calculations, do they slow you down.

Studying the majority of the day. I'm reviewing B6 for the second time then I'm doing a practice test. I heard the Becker practice test are brutal for BEC. They haven't let me down through FAR or REG yet.

A as well. Reworking always pertains to internal costs.

Just bought Ninja MCQ. Very impressed by the interfaces and the adaptive learning component.

Studying all day as well. Finishing B5 and doing about 1/3 to 1/2 of B6. I'll try to post random questions in between.

On a side note, I have yet to do one WC but then reading the posts about time allocation it seems they won't take long. Does anyone have a breakdown or strategy on how to approach them?

I wish I was studying full time today. Work all week, so just lunch breaks for me (and before work…and after work…lol).

@EYNewHire – Do a search in another71 for BEC written communication. There are some good posts already. There is even one where Jeff gives a bunch of tips for the communication that are really great. I'd give the direct link but Im not on my main computer right now.

Howdy – I work in Oil and gas – industry corporate tax. My hours are not too bad, but just with the test anxiety it makes everything so much more stressful. I did not want to give up a testing window though without taking one!

I used to be in public accounting – had enough after about 2 years.

@EYNewHire – I concur with RandomAlt. There's some good posts on here about the writing section. In my experience, both Internal control and IT seem to dominate writing section topics. Make sure you cover relevant key “buzz” words related to the topics since the first grading pass is performed by computer. Just my .02
