    @h0wdyus

    Incorrect

    The answer is B. Comparable sales.

    “The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

    @h0wdyus. It is really funny how different courses focus on different things. There were terms you and stoleway were using that I had no clue about.

    Seasonal is just like it sounds. I think about farming hands. You have work when strawberries are ready to be picked, but the job ends when strawberry season is over.

    cyclical depends on the business cycle expansion; contraction … and Seasonal is what you described.

    Which of the following is most likely to cause an increase in the amount of frictional unemployment in an economy?

    A) Reduction in the average age of the work force

    B) Increase in the average age of the work force

    C) Downturn in aggregate business activity

    D) An invention that renders an industry obsolete

    @EYNewHire … A?

    Rational:

    I automatically reject C (Cyclical) and D (Structural)

    As I remember it, frictional is associated with transitions (I associate “friction” with moving … and the text always describes frictional unemployment as people who are moving, getting out of college…etc).

    So if the work force is getting younger, a lot of them are getting out of college, and looking for jobs.

    Where is this question from? NINJA mcq?

    Yep A is correct. In the explanation it says the young people tend to change jobs more often than older people.

    Well, I've pretty much finished the CPAexcel test bank at this point…just left about 20 questions, mostly involving equivalent units.

    For the rest of the week it is specific topic reviews, and CPAforFree MCQs
