    @h0wdyus

    Incorrect

The answer is B. Comparable sales.

“The use of comparable sales is not an income approach to valuation of a business, it is a market approach. Under the comparable sales approach, the value of a business is determined by comparing it to other entities with comparable characteristics for which the value is more readily determinable.”

    This was a tricky one

I have an option on the left that says reprint NTS. Type in board, Name and DOB. Mine came right up.

I'm taking BEC on July 1 and am about halfway through the Gleim course for it.

Are you guys practicing memo and business letter writing, or just focusing on working problems?

I tried everything at this point. I am in a NASBA state. @ Casa I tried reprint, and put in everything. It said: •An NTS is not available for the criteria provided. But my application status says Submitted!

I really want to schedule my exam!

So luck is clearly not on my side.. I just went on to the NASBA website to check my application status and my NTS. It was not processed until today.. and I have a note on the bottum that says I have to wait another 3-5 business days from the day it was procssed.

Not a happy camper! Usually when I get my NTS, I schedule my test and light a fire under my butt which motivates me to gear up and start studying. No dice!

Charlie, go see if you can see your application online and see what date it was processed or if it's still being processed. and if it's not, call them, and light a fire under their butts. clearly thats what i had to do this morning for them to even look at it.

    From my NASBA account

    Status Date

    06/13/2014

Your application has been processed. Your file has been sent for generation of your Notice to Schedule (NTS). It will take up to 3-5 business days, from the //”Status Date//” listed above, to issue your NTS. If your contact preference is EMAIL you will receive your NTS the day it is issued. If your contact preference is US MAIL, allow an additional 4-7 days for receipt of your NTS.

Should I call or should I wait?

I would wait, I dont think there is anything else we can do at this point. I'm sooooo angry.

Hello all! I am taking BEC on July 10th. I have taken a week to recover from finding out I failed AUD with a 71 after a disappointing miss of FAR with a 73 both in May. I am ready to start in on BEC, hoping I can finally get a pass on my record. I am using CPA excel, the Wiley test bank, and NINJA notes, audio, and flash cards. I haven't participated in the blog before but it is nice to know there are other people out there suffering through studying as well!

Crossingfingers: I haven't practiced any written parts. Right now I'm focusing on getting the concepts down. Then I'll make the writing practice part of my final review. How about you?

I hear you, @NJPRU. I took AUD on May 29th, got my scores a week later, then procrastinated until I got my new NTS today. I've been so lazy the past two weeks. I hope three and a half weeks is enough to study for BEC.

Alright, Peter Olinto, lay it on me.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91

I learned this week that I got a 73 for BEC after a 72 in April. any advice as to what to do. I am studying with Becker and something is not working. I also need to pass before July 4 as my FAR will expire. I am very frustrated and have only three weeks to prepare. I found this forum and really like your comments. What should I buy to support my studies? I already spent so much $ thank you in advance for any advice.
