I have a question that I hope you can help me with…. I purchased the Becker CD’s and installed them on my PC. I have taken and passed all but one of the exams (BEC left).. I was checking to see if my software was up to date and noticed an expiration date of November 2013.. Does this mean my software ( downloaded from my CD’s) will no longer work after November….or will it no longer be supported but I can still take practice exams and do study questions etc?

@clbrown23– I sat for BEC a couple of days ago, my experience is still fresh in my mind. It just blew me away. How can something be so easy and difficult at the same time. Thats why I am still hanging around this forum, because I don't feel like studying for AUD retake (failed 73, I have serious PTSD from that) so I am avoiding the July-Aug forum until I am ready to move on from my exboyfriend BEC. Please don't forget me when you get to FAR, looking forward to reading about your journey.

So now I am just busy planning and researching my strategy for AUD retake while reliving BEC. I was getting ready to put a lessons learned presentation, then I remembered I need to study. Let me research a couple of things before I leave work.

Cheers!! See you on the other side.

I have the BEC exam tomorrow afternoon. Any last minute advice? I feel pretty comfortable with the material, but the range of information is a little terrifying.

Well that makes sense then! You and I are in the same boat.

We are going to have a heck of a month of June studying and an even worse month of July waiting for out scores.

But… we are sooo going to pass 🙂

Hi MCLKT, just wanted to say good luck with BEC and I wish I was in this group instead of FAR haha. I actually found the Econ and IT to be enjoyable. The first 3 chapters took me forever but once I got through those the last 3 Becker chapters took me a week and half. Can't wait for score release..

Thanks Mike1987! Surely you will get a nice surprise on score release day!!!

I do not envy you with your FAR studies ahead. It's tough to manage, but just keep at it one day at a time.

You have MintsRGood in that study group, and I bet she will be a good study buddy 🙂

I'm really glad that I have ended up with BEC for my (hopefully) last exam.

I'll probably struggle with Econ and IT. Luckily IT was touched on in AUD, so that should help.

Today I'm going to purchase the 2013 Wiley Text, as I have 2011 materials.

I've already downloaded the updates, so I think I'm good to go. Tonight begins a power BEC weekend. I've got 4 of them before my test and I plan to use every last minute and go HAM on this exam.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel….

Hi everyone! Will be joining this group about a week from now after taking a short break from studies and while waiting for REG results. Today got new notebook ready for hopefully the last final section to review & take, let's do it!

    @shsh1340

The answer is “D” b/c supply is diminishing, and consequently, interest rates go up. When government (or large entity) needs to borrow large amounts of funds, it does not go “unnoticed” in economy and follows the basic rule: demand up = supply down = rates up b/c less funds available and it is in the interest of lenders to provide the remaining limited funds to those that will pay higher interest rates.

Hi everyone, I just joined the group so I am navigating around and trying to learn all of the etiquette. I just got my review materials and plan to sit for BEC probably in late August. I work full time and am a mom so trying to learn how to juggle all of those responsibilities and study. I haven't sat for the exam at all yet so I have no idea what to expect! I am using Steve Martin's MDS CPA review prep and I am considering supplementing with a crash course of some kind. I also have the 2013 Wiley book. So far terrified and any tips for newbies to exam taking appreciated 😉

Also I am in the middle of MDS's first week which starts with cost accounting.

    Restarting my journey!
