I am taking BEC May 29th. I will start studying once REG is over (tomorrow!). Hope this one isn’t too bad!

Sara, this is not my first time taking BEC. I am not sure if this means anything.

However all other boxes are grey out simply b/c I passed 2 of them and 1 to take end of this month. I hope the loophole is wrong for NY exam takers.

    Reg - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    Audit - 11/28

NY test taker here. I checked out the GA loophole and my BEC box was shaded. This was my first exam.

Just checked the Ohio site, it lets me re-apply. Has anyone ever had this situation and still passed? this is my 2nd take and I felt I did so much better then the first time around. Got a 69 the last sitting. I wish I would have not gave in to this “loophole” situation, but im in it now………..

I didn't think I passed and the loophole confirmed it for me. Oh well, I didn't put the time into BEC like I needed to. I'm going to check my score later tonight, but in the meantime, it's time to get back to secured transactions in REG. Good luck to everyone!

    Ineedonly75,

No it shouldn't matter how many times you take it. I hope it's wrong for you! I have seen it go both ways for NY candidates, so it's hard to say. Seems like maybe a glitch in the system or maybe it has something to do with the fact NY scores are usually posted last. Who knows. Just be prepared either way… I know I am.

Sorry for the confusion – I failed last time. I checked the loophole today and it is saying all parts pending.

@Sara-2-B-CPA – why is it that NY is always the last to do everything?? I live in NY, but years ago missed the deadline to register to take the CPA exam, so I ended up becoming a VT candidate by default. You would think they would get their act together by now!!

VT has been so much easier to deal with.

I'm hoping for good things for you, I can't wait until i only have one part left!!
