No, I didn't have any lectures. I just used the book and review question CD. I did have the focus notes as well, but I don't think those are absolutely necessary, they were just helpful for review.

Thanks! It is definitely a whole lot of material!! I felt like it took a lot more time to get through (similar to REG) because of the time it takes to work through each of the problems.

I'm sure it is beneficial to watch the lectures first, so if you have them I would definitely utilize them. I just bought the set with the book, CD, and focus notes.

    Good luck studying!

MPoni123… that bothered me too when going through chapter 2 and 4 lectures… I even backed up the lecture to make sure he was really saying it wrong! I'm so happy to be finished with chapter four for that very reason!

Are results usually mailed (USPS) or e-mailed? I am away from my permanent address for the next week or so and have been checking my email like a madman. It'd be nice to know if my relentless checking will be fruitless.

no scores for florida yet either. BEC is my last as well. This is my second time around and felt pretty good about the exam. first testlet was a little hard, mostly some questions that were similar to ones that i had worked but they did not really make sense or point to a logical way to determine the answer. The following testlets were easier. I finished with 23 minutes to spare and did not have any problems to go back and review. Becker 1, 3, 4 and beginning of 5 was the exam. I used Gleim this time around and it was laid out much better and there was not a question on the test that i had not worked something similar for, other than a couple on the first tab.

sircallihan – are you in a NASBA state? you can check your score on the NASBA website. if you are an independent state, i am not sure if it gets e-mailed or not.

    hope that helps!

What state are you from sircallihan? Most states can check for their scores online either through NASBA or their state board of accountancy website, depending on the state (I think there are only a few that have to wait for snail mail).

I know one thing for sure when it comes to the CPA exam. This test score waiting crap is BULL S*%T. There are no words to describe how unbelievable this process is.
