Is it possible scores will be delayed due to the Nashville flooding??? I read (in a Becker email I believe) that offices were shutting down for a few days after the flood, but nothing was destroyed.

Maybe they should have a hot site…

I'm gearing up for my battle with BEC on memorial day (5/31). — Does this mean I'll be in Wave 2? What is the predicted score release date for that wave?

    General comments:

I agree with many other people who have posted their comments when it comes to the material. Becker chapters B1 & B4 are in my back pocket (thanks to some comprehensive IT courses that I sat through in college). The other three are a lot more intense. This will be the fourth section that I sit for (expecting my REG score in Wave 1 any day now) and I am once again amazed at how much information we're being asked to know. BEC has been especially rough on me given all the formulas I'll need to know.

All in all, it'll be ok. I tend to try and take a relaxed/confident approach and it has worked for me thus far. This test is 50% preparation and 50% execution. You earn the first 50% over the month or so you take to study, but its all for nothing if you can't focus and execute in your 2-4 hour window.

This whole process has definitely been draining. Then again, once I'm a CPA, I won't want them handing the certifications out like bank lollipops either.

Good luck all. Relax and have Confidence in your abilities.

Just got back fom BEC, i tought i heard the degree of difficulty of the testlets dont adapt to how well you are doing but my first testlet was tricky with stuff i haven't seen in becker, my second testlet was easier and my last testlet was super easy. I feel like it could go either way, which is how i felt with Audit, which i passed.

    kmath & Shawna,

they should have a countdown clock just as we do on the exam, to grade the tests.

Have to agree NASBA needs a hot site. Here they go trying to test us on knowing about hot sites and they don't have one….

So much for AICPA giving us time limits on our tests but doesn't apply to them?

Doubt scores will be released today either….

Can't believe the AICPA, no deadlines or accountability with releasing scores. Is there such a thing as a CPA Exam Tea Party? – where do I sign-up!

i am glad i am taking BEC the end of may, which puts me in wave 2 and means i won't have to wait long for my results since it will be at the end of the testing window. this is a retake for me. chapter 3 is waaaay over my head. i extremely dislike finance. it is confusing. chapters 3 and 5 are my problem areas and figures they are the most heavily tested.

i am sitting may 28 and i have chapters 4 and 5 to get through and i also supplemented my material with Yaeger CRAM. i do agree that becker did not prepare me enough for BEC, but felt it was adequate for AUD. i had a lot of curveballs with REG, but still passed so i am not complaining!

good luck to all waiting on wave 1 results!

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

Can you Becker students tell me what is Chapter 3 and 5?? I am not using Becker so everyone's comments about chapters make no sense to me!
