I took BEC a couple weeks ago and it was reasonable. There were a couple tough questions but overall it seemed straightforward.

Shawna – i cant tell you how comforting it is to hear that. Which review did you use? ive used Becker for all 4 but it didnt work for me with BEC. I purchased Yaeger for this time around and I hope its enough to put me over the edge.

I took Bec on April 12th and It was easy, there was like 4 total maybe that I just guessed. I will be surpised if I don't pass, only time will tell results come out next week.

I just took BEC yesterday, and there weren't any surprises on my test. Everything seemed pretty straight forward and I didn't seen anything on there that I hadn't gone over with the Yaeger review. Yesterday was definitely the best I felt walking out of an exam so far…which of course in turn makes me nervous that I'm too confident! You just can't win with these things haha.

OK so I am studying for BEC and taking it on May 24. I am on Lecture 4 using Becker, and the website has tons of updates for the 2010 version of that lecture. They keep on correcting what the national instructor says…..

Is it just me or does that guy not know what he is talking about but yet Becker has not updated the lecture itself but have a hard copy corrections list for us to get confused over.

Really frustrated as I have to listen to the lecture and then go read the update and erase what the national instructor just told me

I took BEC today using Becker. I agree with Zaara on numerous correction of lectures especially chapter 4. I passed AUD on first attempt using Becker. In general Becker seems useful for candidate with fairly solid background on each content. I am personally proficient in IT and did not face any problem with chapter 4. However, it seems Becker's review as well as flashcards for BEC falls short compared to their AUD lesson. My next target is FAR in Jul.

Yeah I have to agree.I took AUD as my first one too and it was so well detailed. I feel for BEC and REG, Becker was not so detailed. I await the results for REG but take BEC in a couple weeks.SO NERVOUS!

For those using Becker they uploaded the 2010 AICPA Released Questions. They are still working on the explanations.

All we do is wait…wait…wait….wait. Do you think AICPA will release today? According to the NASBA tweet the other day they are expecting it to be the 3rd week of May. I guess we may have to wait until next week? Every single exam I have taken has been dead LAST for the score release. BEC has to be first, right? 🙂
