Almost there – The cutoff for Wave 1 has historically been the 7th of the 2nd month.

This came to light when I had a friend at the IL Board of Examiners who let me know this. She has since retired 🙁

Is it me or does it seem like Becker contradicts itself on variable costing vs absorption. In variable, which variable costs are included in product costs, VOH and V SGA or is it just VOH?

I though it was:

Sales

– VC (VOH and V SGA)

---

CM

But another questions asks which costs are assigned to inventory and the answer is only VOH. Am I wrong in thinking the VC in formula above are the inventoy or product costs?

Any help on this would be appreciated 🙂

You can think of it that way for answering certain questions where you cant use the formulas.

SP-VC = CM

but the statement

is

SP-VC=CM-VC (Period) – FC = NI

CPA EXAM - Passed

So would the V SGA be a period cost thus not contribute to CM?

BEC by Friday is a decent bet, but it's anyone's guess.

If you live in a NASBA state, buy the result watch software and it will e-mail your score to your phone, if applicable.

Well, I took BEC on Friday (May 7th). It was unbelievably hard. I studied Becker for 6 weeks very very intense. I must have gotten a very difficult test, because their were like 15 questions that I didn't even know how to begin to answer. I literally just had to guess. All I can say in the way of advice is to know the material better than you think you should. Try to think of how the exam people could trick you. They sure tricked me. The easy questions I had, were very easy, but the difficult questions were very difficult. I felt like I got a 68 on my Audit exam and I ended up with a 73. On this one, I feel like I got a 60. I'm very discouraged, but I will pass eventually. This thing will NOT get me down. Now I take a break for a week and begin studying FAR.
