I studied relentlessly and got over 90% on all the Wiley BEC practice questions and practiced writing the memos. Got a score of 67! Just purchased Becker to help me pass. This is the second time I got a 67. Anyone else have this problem? Could use some suggestions. Thanks!

As Baxter said, know your formulas. When I started rewriting my notes I made a sheet with all the formulas on it and I rewrote this sheet everday the week leading up to the exam. Also the best way to remember forumulas is to practice using them. So do as many MCQs as you can. I think PURE DADS is what saved me the second time around. It was not explained in my material but I found a thread on here that explained it and it made those variance problems so much easier.

I really don't know how I passed because I don't think Becker did a good job with covering the material for BEC. On the WC, I made sure to write at least 3 standard paragraphs for each essay. I also used key words and repeated what was being asked within each memo. I was give the same question twice in the MC. I was able to narrow it down to 2 choices, so when I saw the question again I chose the other answer. Thank God I did because I think that could have made all the difference between me passing and failing.

Thanks for the helpful tips and support. I'm going to start studying again this weekend. It NEVER ends, As for the WC I followed Wiley's samples and used only one paragraph and pretty much followed everything to a tee. KNMCPA, I will try your method next time. And I will DEF use the PURE DADS. I hope Becker does a better job than WIley this time around.
