How much do you hate studying for AUD? - Page 3

I started studying for Audit a few weeks ago. I thought BEC was bad…! I know Audit isn’t supposed to be “that hard” because there’s no calculations, but I’m finding myself getting hung up on everything. Should I memorize this or not? Etc. And it’s so soooo boring…zzzzzz.

What’s the best way to study for Audit? MCQs or reading? Also, I’m thinking about supplementing with Wiley Test Bank again, which is what I did for BEC. Should I get the Test Bank or go for the Ninja Notes?

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

I agree with Texas27 about the using the literature–IF you get the right sims. The first time, I found everything asked for in the sims in the research tabs and did great on the sims. The second time, I had at least three (my brain is a little fuzzy after all the interruptions I had during the actual exam) that were NOT stated explicitly in the literature (that I could find). One of them was the exact same question I'd had the first time, asked from a different angle.

I feel like AUD has been the easiest section so far, but definitely the most boring for me. And since I accidentally left questions unanswered the first time (I'm an idiot, I know–it's hard to understand how that could happen, but it did), I won't know if it's really the easiest until scores are released. The second was definitely harder than the first in all respects.

But I'm thinking positively and focusing on REG!

FAR: 11/26 81!! Thank you Prof. Hoyle & cpareviewforfree!
    AUD: 2/26 73*, 4/20 66 (AICPA approved free re-do: 8/12--waiting)
    BEC: 1/15 82!! Wiley & cpareviewforfree
    REG: 5/13 66, 7/22--waiting!
(exclamation points due to the complete surprise of passing)
*(left questions unanswered by accident) :o(

Everyone is different, but I loved studying/taking the audit exam. The concepts just made sense to me. I also took it after BEC and REG so I was just so happy for the lack of math problems.

My loves in order were AUD, REG, BEC, FAR.

Nominal? I scored a 17 LOL. No studying, didn't care as it wasn't required to be accepted into my State College.
