Just called the state board in Idaho for a score on AUD taken Aug 13, passed. Was a little worried that the score would be right on the edge of passing because of the talk on here of borderline scores being released later, and the fact that I scored a 74 last try. What a relief.

I did have a girl in my REG class (Q2) who never got a score online in some reason, but received it by mail and made 90. So, we who are still waiting have a hope. 🙂

Dopefreediva – I'm also still waiting for my score – but do not worry just yet, the last time I was losing my sleep over a score, AICPA released on a Tuesday, and I still did not get my score by Friday afternoon, ended up calling everyone from Castle, to the WA state board – finally, just after 3 pm Castle managed to post my score – 89.

Even if there is just one person keying in by hand, they would have been done by now (ok, I'm losing my patience, taking a deep breath now…).

Think I'll wait till 1 pm tomorrow, and if still no score, I'll start calling.

    Good Luck with your score!

I don't know. Knowing that I'm in the borderline category makes me have mixed emotions about 9pm getting here quickly.

I work for a small firm CPA firm. We do G/L Accounting, and Tax. I love it because A) no audits B)you can be a bigger fish in a small pond (as opposed to a shrimp in the ocean) and C) it' always a variety of work. It never gets monotaneous.

    I live in North Seattle

I think I just want it to get here so that I either know if I passed or failed. If I have passed, then I am done with the exam and done with studying. If I have failed, I only have until Oct 31st to pass or I will lose REG, so I just really want to find out so I know if I need to shell out some more money for another NTS.

I'm with ya taxgirl, although, I'm lucky that I have until March to pass Audit, but I don't want to shell out any more money or start studying again. My firm doesn't help with exam fees, so everytime I pay for an exam, I want to cry. Good luck to you. Hopefully we never see each other again after tonight (b/c we will both have passed). 😉

    dopefreediva,

That is exactly the job I want….and to work from home a lot of the time as well….

I get bored easily which is why I went into accounting….so far I think tax is the hardest and changes the most, so I think that would fit me! Right now I do accounting for 4 small businesses and some sales and design and update the web site. They keep growing, so I haven't gotten bored yet, but they will not let me work from home.

SwissBliss, good luck to you too! Hopefully we will both have passed. I want to cry when I have to hand out more money too. My old firm (one of the Big 4) helped with exam fees but they had strict rules. They would only pay for the exam once (after you passed all of it) and you had to pass within 2 years of being there. I didn't pass in my first two years and they laid me off in May so I've been trying to find a job and study.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna get off here for awhile and find something to do for a little bit. I'll talk to you soon!
