Swissbliss, thanks, sorry, new to this blog…

If we don't see an announcement on the IBOE site you mean? Then it's safe to say we wont get them 'til Friday? Are you saying there's any chance we would get them today?

Anyone in here waiting for the AUD score also take REG in this testing window. I'm using becker but I keep hearing that becker did not cover in detail the key issues on the test. I'm taking REG in October anyone have any other study guides or helpful hints. If so let m know which ones.

yeah, I love the forum, but I get tired of reading the same thing over and over sometimes because people don't want to browse the site. I mean what else do we have to do. we're refreshing the site ever 2 seconds anyway, we might as well read it. 😉

glogo, on the main page of the forum a new topic will start showing that AUD has been released by the AICPA. There is a small glimmer of hope that they will release that today. If you don't see that new subject by 6pm, then it's not coming out until tomorrow. They typically release around 5pm. I'm not sure what state your from, but you could check on the main page to see if you're a NASBA state or an independent state to see when to expect your score after the AICPA release. I'm a NASBA state, so once AICPA releases, I don't expect a score for 24-48 hours.

To be honest, I'm not sure why I want them to be released because as soon as they are released I will begin re-studying AUD or starting up REG. I guess I should be enjoying this time when I really can't study….

It's like asking 5 minutes before class if someone finished their homework and if you can see it because you didn't even look at it or complete it…

jbmagri, I took REG and passed the first time with a 79. The only thing I used to study was beckers, and I didn't even listen to the online lessons. If you know the Beckers material you'll be fine.

IL is weird then. It looks like they still haven't received FAR scores, so not sure what's going on there. Good luck.

JBMargi – I did not feel that way about Reg. I actually used Becker's 2005 materials and passed with an 84. I had only been in the accounting field one month, so it wasn't from experience in tax, and I had only taken one course. My biggest piece of advice, and it really goes for any test, study why you got questions wrong. The only exam I have failed so far was because I didn't understand the concepts, and it's because I would get a m/c question wrong, and then I would be like ah, shucks, that's the right answer, okay, move on. After that failure for every other exam, I wrote out why I missed the question, then I used that info as my final review.

looks like there's a chance that even if scores come out we may not know tonight. Jeff is boarding a flight home, so he won't be able to update us, and the NASBA twitter about the FAR scores came the following morning. Don't lose hope everyone.

IL still hasn't released FAR. they are usually pretty good about it, not sure what is going on. So once AICPA releases Audit who knows how long that will take as well. Just a heads up.
