Audit July 10

Do question after question after question after question.

    And then do some more.

I used Becker and that was my approach. I went into the exam feeling good, left feeling terrible, but the result of 96 means that my strategy worked for me…because I knew NOTHING about auditing prior studying Becker.

Anyone else taking audit around this date? I've been through the material a while ago, and have just been hammering the mc questions (Becker). I will be taking the practice exams this weekend followed by more mc questions and sims. I took audit a while ago and received a 66.

I have 60 + hours budgeted from now until exam time of studying in.

Any suggestions? Should this be enough time?

I'm taking audit around the 15th of July. Like whitesoxfancpa, I am doing the Becker questions over and over again. I'm actually getting bored with the material, so I'm skimming the book some as well for topics I'm a little weak on. Someone told me to memorize the unqualified opinion word for word, but that seems like overkill to me. Good luck!

I am just going with the census here and going to keep hammering the mc questions. Make sure you read and re read why you got wrong answers wrong. How did you do on the practice exams?

NYMadman-I didn't do the SIMS on Wiley or Becker, and I really should have. The SIMS are very smiliar to Becker. Also the WC.

I just got done going through the AUD mc questions the second time around receiving 75+ on all areas. Tomorrow I plan on taking one practice exams and working all or most of the sims. Saturday I will probably take the other practice exam. I then have a week until my exam and was wondering what areas I should hit hard during the last week. For those who have taken AUD recently, what areas are seen the most frequent on the exam. I plan on working the most heavily tested mc questions one more time, and doing one or two more practice exams this last week. Any thoughts on if this is sufficient enought for AUD?

I ordered Yaeger's 10 hour AUD Cram. I should receive the AUD cram by 3 p.m. today. It should bump me up from a 74 to a 75. I am only studying for a total of 8 days.

AUD has humbled me. However, I found BEC and REG easy because I like those subjects. I do not like all the theory in AUD. That is my problem. My AUD exam is July 9th. Pray for me. I lose credit on REG on July 10th if I do not pass AUD.

I want to thank Dr. Yaeger for taking an interest in me and helping me to pass all four parts of the CPA exam! As many of you know, I have tried many different review courses, including Becker, Bisk, Gleim, Kaplan, Lambers and Roger. Dr. Phil Yaeger always comes out on top, in my opinion. Thanks Dr. Phil Yaeger!

AlmostThere – Memorizing the Unqualified Opinion is actually not a bad idea. Its a lot easier to do than you might think, and it will help you immensely on the exam (it did for me at least). You would be suprised at how many questions can be answered just by knowing that opinion.

    FAR-87; AUD-89; BEC-85; BEC-84
    DONE!
