Yes answer B seems more sensible to me.

@anjanja hows studying going? were taking it one day apart

Between Friday & Saturday ive done over 530 questions and my scores are improving since my first round through which was over a month ago for the first few chapters.

i also did another 300 (estimated but its going to be close to that) questions today with improvements as well.

if i do over 200 questions a day, why do i feel so guilty every second that is not spent studying???

I am panicking, still have 15% of book to cover and review.

I actually am trying not to answer same msq's more than once for now because am really good with memorizing answers. After I answer all ninja and Roger questions, I am going to start doing gleim mcq and sims. If there is any time left, that is.

How do you prepare for PCAOB stuff? Do you read SOX and all that? It's barely covered in Roger's book

@Anjanja, am using Gleim too, how does it compare to Ninja?

And I think you will be okay, I just do the SIMs and MCQ's on the PCAOB and take notes nothing additional for me.

    salring,

I think ninja FAR questions were as difficult as gleim ones, but gleim sims were definitely more difficult and very close to the ones I saw on the exam. Aud gleim mcq's seem little easier than ninja, but I only answered like 50 of them so not really sure.

Thanks! Am comparing Gleim to Wiley and for AUD Wiley MCQ's are definitely harder than Gleim's even though I feel like Gleim offers detailed and better explanations for incorrect questions than Wiley.

How much emphasis are you guys placing on the NINJA MCQs during your review? Are you solely using this bank or referring to others? I'm almost 2 weeks out and mostly using NINJA.

@jstay – is this your first time at it or are you retaking? I've been trending around 75% for the NINJA MCQs…I just can't get over the hump. I'm blending in a few Wiley MCQs as well.

How come a compilation is considered an attest engagement and yet attest engagements by definition require independence yet compilations do not require independence.

@salring which situation did you encounter that defined a compilation as being an attest engagement?

I was reading Wiley book chapter 6 which states that a compilation is an attest engagement.

From everything I've studied in Becker, a compilation is the only engagement where independence is not required. Since no assurance is being provided in a compilation, I don't see how they could define it as an attest engagement which provides positive assurance..
