My plan is to take this at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. I have Becker right now but my subscription expires in Jan. What are some other good study tools? I imagine I will use Ninja MCQ, still have my AUD book, should that be enough?

Just signed up for January 26th. 4th time taking audit and only 2 more chances left to before i give up on being a cpa. Not sure how I failed the past 3 times being that the 2nd and 3rd testlet for all of them were hard. Must be the sims. Just bought Wiley mcq's and ninja notes and mcq's. Going all in for this one, no going out and weekends and trying to make it seem like its my last chance to take it.

Listening to Ninja Audio and rewriting my notes + Ninja notes was a HUGE factor in my score increase of 20 points on my AUD retake. If you don't have them, you may want to get them. There were parts of the audio that I could repeat verbatim on my test. Good luck to all! Hi Tax Lady and wannabe!! 🙂

Not yet. After each exam I turn off my study blinders and realize my house is a disaster area. Then I have to go through the house and declutter and clean, especially with Christmas decorating coming up this weekend. Maybe we can actually keep it clean this time. 🙂 I hope to enjoy my free time soon, assuming/hoping/praying I'm done.

Hey taxlady..don't worry I was off the forum most of the time last 2 days before my exam on 26th and assumed everyone in our group wished me good luck 😉 . I am glad that we ll be together having lots of quizes. When do you plan to start studying for audit. I was thinking of starting lectures today and get them done until the score release, but I am not sure that will be possible with bad cold and fever I have since yesterday. Are you in for quizes topic wise from the beginning itself after you are done with reading stuff. I think it will help us alot.

Hi everyone,

I just took AUD in November 2014, and I feel terrible about it. I did pretty well on the SIMS but poorly on the MCQ. My guess is that I do not pass it. I will have my score by Dec 9th. I just had my one week break from the exam. I am wondering should I start studying for FAR (my next exam) or should I wait for the result and study for AUD again to take it in Feb? I found the AUD MCQ this Q4 is very hard, anybody thinks so besides me?

Just did a Becker practice exam and got an 85 on the multiple choice. 🙂 I did okay on the sims, didn't get the research question, but I got 60 to 80% on the others. I am feeling pretty good and am confident I will slay this beast and be DONE on December 18!!!!

Any update on when the AUD book will available? Also, are there updated Notes or Audio?

The AUD book is making faster progress than the FAR book…it will be out in December…not exactly sure how much December will be left, but it will be December.

I'm doing nothing but updates right now – and starting on them earlier than usual.

Notes/Audio updates should be out by 12/20.

I've been trying to pass the CPA since July of this year. I've taken them all once, and am on a second/third time around for some. Thought for sure I passed AUD last time and got, wait for it…. literally ANOTHER 71. Thought I would give the NINJA program a shot to push me just over that 75 threshold. Had been using Becker prior to this, which helped me pass BEC and REG. Waiting on a score for FAR (12/9/2014, eeeek!), will see if I'll be retaking that one in Q2 2015, AFTER busy season!

AUD will be mine on 1/3/2015!!

If you've got any motivation advice, please let me hear it. I've been studying and taking exams for months, and now started working full time and about to jump into my first busy season (fingers crossed, with all 4 exams passed!)
