    Alpa I think I had a similar exam experience. There were so many random questions that you can't even study for!! Need to stop thinking about it and move to BEC. Hope you killed it!

    Just got smoked by FAR on tuesday, already fighting to get through my Becker A1-2 this weekend…look on Girlfriends face because I'm staying in on Fourth of July is just great…Ill be seeing y'all in here until my test on the 31st.

    @NYC..yes I agree…thats a better explanation of materiality level. The higher the threshold…the less likely something would be considered material. I also misspoke when i said materiality level is determined by the company…but obviously this is something the audit team determines when assessing the risk.

    FAR- PASSED (11/13)
    REG- PASSED (2/14)
    BEC- PASSED (5/14)
    AUD- PASSED (8/14)

    @riceperson and @arushi89…thanks and all the best to you both too…. ya I think for me, my sequence for giving the exams worked out just fine.. AUD definitely picks up stuff from both FAR and BEC.

    I have a question…

    When we are talking about supplementary infomration in relation to the financial statements .. they must have written represetation from mangement .. aka man rep letter… does it have to be SEPERATE from the man rep letter for the financial statements?

    Is it just me, or are the Becker Ch 4 Sims the biggest biatches in the universe?

    I hate them, but I guess that's why I need to re do them again and again.

    @Irv21 unless the auditor was engaged to review/audit supplementary info, then separate rep letter can be issued. However, most of audited report two things can happened, either supplementary info required to be part of audit report or not required. In this case rep letter can be incorporated about supplementary info.

    Happy 4th to everyone who is studying today!

    Taking the exam tomorrow… did all 123 Becker final review questions this morning and took notes on ones I didn't know.

    Now I am just going to relax and briefly review notes in the morning. I'm so sick of looking at this material and I don't want to feel this way when I walk into my test tomorrow!

    For those who have taken the exam, is Ninja harder? I do well, but the questions are sometimes so detailed!! I'm starting to get a little nervous honestly lol.

    Also, since there is currently a hurricane over New Jersey, if it interferes with my test tomorrow.. I'm going to FREAK out!

    I thought I was done with hurricanes when I moved away from Louisiana lol

    NYCaccountant,

    I haven't noticed that they are noticeably harder, or easier. I would say that they are in line. If you're hitting in the upper eighties on either Ninja or Becker, you'll be fine on the multiple choice.

    That's where I've been, and my fail reports have said, better than passing candidates on MC worse on SIMs.

    So obviously, I'm trying to conquer SIMS.

    @NYCaccountant am using WTB now to exam date. I haven't heard people talking about Ninja TB related to exam.

    Can someone help me understand the types procedures/testings/controls/… auditors should do at 1) beginning of the audit 2) planning stage 3) during audit 4) final review stage…
