Hi all of my Auditing class of 2013 Ninjas!

Is there a study group topic for Jan/Feb 2013 yet?

If not, can we start one?

I have scheduled my exam for 1/11. This is my second try (73 in Aug. 2012). Tonight I am going to take a mini practice exam to see what I remember and get and idea of my weak spots. And tomorrow I begin re-watching Yaeger vidoes. The entire timeline is to work book questions as I go through each module. Wrapping up the last video by Dec 14. And will do nothing but review, review, review until 1/10. Oh, and take my holiday vacation at the end of December, yikes!

What review material are you using? When is your exam? What topics have you covered? Any tips yet?

^^^ The last section of the textbook is dedicated to it — it's one of the longer sections in the book. I mean, it seems pretty comprehensive to me, but I can't really decide that since I haven't seen the exam. But yeah, it's seems pretty solid.

This is my last test and the pressure is unbelievable! Every other test I've went in with a mindset of “I just have to move on after this and start preparing for the next one.” This time, there's nothing left to prepare for…I need to pass!

So anyway, I just got an average of a 75 on the 2nd final exam for Becker. I hear that's good because people pass the exam without passing Becker's exam. Let's hope so!

The information people are posting on here has been so helpful!!

Just got back from the exam. I definitely felt prepared and wasn't surprised by any question/topic on there. The MCQ were fine and I didn't notice whole testlets getting harder or easier, more like I noticed a few more trickier questions here or there. Two of the SIMs were just ridiculous. I'm glad I left 2.5 hours for them.

Took the exam as well. I hope we all pass. I didn't struggle too much but I was unsure of a lot of MCs. The AL helped me a lot with the simulations. Especially the one concerning _____________. There's a whole section in AL for that.

I didn't think I was being that specific. There are 100 things that could have been on the exam regarding misstatements, overstatements, and understatements (the entire Becker book relates to that and financial statements!). I just noticed my post was deleted. There were posts more specifics that are still up but whatever! 🙂

I took the exam today and finished 1.5 hours early. Either it was really easy or I failed and have no clue what I'm doing. I guess we'll see in a week. Now, back to BEC!

hi everyone! Taking audit on 4/20 and determined to pass! Using Becker 2012, ninja audio and ninja notes and Wiley test bank.

Hi Journey to fate…I am too going to take the exam in April, maybe by the 15th of April. I am also using Becker, Wiley test bank, and Ninja audio.

I have to say that I am enjoying studying for AUD more than I did when I tried FAR….so I hope that is a good thing.

I try to read the chapters during the week, at night (ater I put my 6 and 3 year old boys to bed) and do lots and lots of MCQ in the weekend. I usually write notes while I read the chapters and then when I do MCQ with important things and things that I think I am not strong in. I am about half way through reading the chapters.

How about you?? How are you studying??
