I applied for the CPA exam while I was enrolled in the classes that made me eligible. I was putting off sending in the final transcript because I only thought it would not allow me to sign up for new sections. I was already signed up for FAR and AUD. I was wrong…they wont let you see your scores either! Here is an email below letting me know they have my score and telling me they dont have my transcript (received this yesterday after sending my transcript in on Monday):
If you are receiving this e-mail it means that we have received an advisory score notice for one or more sections of the CPA Exam which you have written. However, we cannot release score information until we receive a final official transcript showing completion of eligibility requirements; faxed or e-mailed copies are unacceptable.
I replied letting the state coordinator know that I had sent it on Monday and was hoping to receive my score before the weekend. Here is the response:
I will be out of the office from Friday, February 26th, through Monday, March 1st; I will return on Tuesday, March 2nd. Thank you for your patience and have a great day.
