When I called NASBA, they told me not to expect it before the 1st week in April

ANOTHER 73… according to NASBA THEMESELVES “that historically a score has never been changed as a result of a Score Appeal.”

It says it on their website at the link below.

    https://www.nasba.org/nasbaweb/NASBAWEB.nsf/wpes?openform&stateabbrev=PA

I don't think thats true though cause at my old firm someone challenged his 74 and he told us it was overturned… but maybe he lied?

Maybe NASBA is lying to discourage appeals

The initial grading of a section takes long enough.. regrading must take 2 test windows

NK19 – The first week in April! I could cry I sat 1/5/10. I was hoping they would be kind and start around the middle of March, but with the extended window I wondered how delayed it would be. If I got it on April 1st it would mean 12 weeks 2 days waiting for a score.

    I'm so sad. :O(

OK, everyone pushed into wave 2 — Resist giving too much advice to those yet to take AUD this window so they don't score better than us and push us into failing. Be stingy!

REG: 76 (would have lost credit 5/31)
    AUD: 71, 78
    BEC: 74, 81
    FAR: 74, 61, 66, 69, 75 DONE

Not done!! Audit 72= 6 more weeks of studying.

1 left. That is my mantra.

    Another73,

While I do not know anyone who has successfully had a challenged score reversed, I do work with someone who got a 74 on FAR, then took it a 2nd time, and before he got his grade back for the 2nd time he took it NASBA notified him that he had actually passed FAR the first time he took it. He did not actually challenge his first score, but they bumped his first score up to a 75 anyway and reimbursed him the cost to take FAR the 2nd time (though he was not reimbursed for the time, energy and pain he had to go through studying for it again, but that's another story).

I assume this is an extremely rare case but thought it was worth sharing.

    FAR: 81 (1/20) AUD: 88 (2/27) REG: 91 (4/19) BEC: 75 (5/20)

When Wave 1B was released I was happy to hear that there might be a chance that my score was amongst them. Now 219??!!! This is one big tease. This is a lousy way to administer scores. They have no problem taking our money at every turn of this process and to boot they toy with us by making us wait at the edge of our seats for an entire week. This affects our personal and professional lives along with the potential to earn a better living for ourselves. The AICPA need to reevaluate the affect that their score release plays on candidates emotions.

Thanks for the update all the same Jeff, when I pass all four parts I've got a six pack coming your way.

Going to the Santa Monica library to study for FAR on 3/1. Bring on the pain.

I'm really glad that more AUD scores were released with the REG scores…and of course I'm going to hope and pray that I'm one of the “lucky” 219 with a passing score…however, I'm definitely not about to hold my breathe! The torturous release the AICPA has been putting us AUD candidates through since last Friday has been worse that studying for FAR, and it has put me behind in my studying for FAR as well!

Last night, I finally gave up hope. I filed for my new NTS so that I can schedule my FAR exam for the next window. I can only hope that I find out that I passed AUD with this Wave 1c release or am still stuck in Wave 2 to keep me from having regrets about filing for the new NTS and possibly being out an extra $70 if I didn't actually pass AUD.

UGH! This process has been so frustrating this week!

I did read (earlier today as a matter of fact) that last year no score review led to a change in score! With that said… I would definitely not waste my money on a request. All they do is run the test back through the same scoring process to make sure it was scored properly the first time!!

    Good luck!
