The problem is that neither AICPA nor NASBA are announcing/committing to a date for score release. This is very unprofessional for such a professional line of work. They are very concerned with keeping a high reputation for the CPA profession as far as others are concerned, but not so much as far as we, the candidates, are concerned. And we are the ones paying for this process!! If any of us would behave like this with our clients we would be fired in no time! Can you imagine telling a client that you will email them when the engagement/project is finished? To expect it within the next 4 to 8 weeks… and if is not ready then, just wait another month… after they already paid you in full for the work… It sounds laughable, doesn't it?
With today's technology there is no reason why AICPA cannot have an actual date for the release and why NASBA cannot process and release the scores reliably the next day. We would all be less insane if we can set our expectations for a certain date rather than this nebulous, ridiculous process!
