Pretty sure CA is independent. I'm in IL also independent. This wait is miserable. StephP: If I hear anything I'll post it bc our states release early (lucky us!)

CA is an indie state, so usually when the AICPA releases the scores to CA, they are up the next day. I'm really hoping AICPA releases today, then we have some hope for tomorrow morning. I've been waiting since Tuesday, can't take it anymore. I took AUD my 2nd time, got a 72 first time around. Lets cross our fingers!!!

your state is still then waiting for AICPA release… if AICPA releases today then I dont know how long it takes CA to post the scores… NASBA takes about 24hrs (and they don't do it over the weekend)

Remember though that due to the budget crisis the governors office of CA has ordered the CA board of accountancy to take a furlough day the first second and third friday of the month until July. I dont think any one is even there today to work on it if the AICPA does release scores.

    BEC:86 (10/26) FAR:84 (10/02) REG:84 (11/30) AUD: 77 (1/12)

Once upon a time, there was a shepherd looking after his sheep on the

side of a deserted road. Suddenly a brand new Porsche screeches to a

halt. The driver, a man dressed in an Armani suit, Cerutti shoes,

    Ray-Ban sunglasses, TAG-Heuer wrist-watch, and a Pierre Cardin tie

gets out and asks the shepherd, ‘If I can tell you how many sheep you

have, will you give me one of them?' The shepherd looks at the young

man, and then looks at the large flock of grazing sheep and replies,

    ‘Okay.'

The young man parks the car, connects his laptop to the mobile-fax,

enters a NASA Website, scans the ground using his GPS, opens a

database and 60 Excel tables filled with algorithms and pivot tables.

He then prints out a 150-page report on his high-tech mini-printer,

turns to the shepherd and says, ‘you have exactly 1,586 sheep. The

shepherd cheers, ‘That's correct, you can have your sheep.' The young

man takes one of the animals from the flock and puts it in the back of

his Porsche. The shepherd looks at him and asks, ‘If I guess your

profession, will you return my animal to me?' The young man answers,

    ‘Yes, why not?'

The shepherd says, ‘You are an auditor.' ‘How did you know?' asks the

young man. ‘Very simple,' answers the shepherd. ‘Firstly, you came

here without being wanted. Secondly, you charged me a fee to tell me

something I already knew. Thirdly, you don't understand anything about

my business….' ‘…Now can I have my dog back?'

something trippy just happened on my advisory score page. My pending Audit score is now on two lines instead of one. This has never happened before. Anybody have any idea what this means? I'm in CA btw.

Hi all, I'm waiting for BEC but I thought I'd pass an email I received in response to the score release from a NASBA director just to let you guys know. Here is a copy of the email:

“The AICPA released BEC scores to NASBA late Wednesday afternoon, it takes 24 hours for scores to be processed through the National Candidate Database in order to release to state boards or CPAES.

It typically takes another 24 hours for CPAES to complete processing and post on the http://www.nasba.org website.

BEC is the only section which has been released and it should be available this evening.”

    MASS - BEC 79, AUD 75, REG 80, FAR 71 FEB'10, FAR 71 JUN'10, FAR NOV'10 77 and I'm spent...

This is from NASBA's twitter posting relating to the other exam releases:

“We're in wait-mode too. No info from the AICPA as of yet. While we don't have an ETA, as soon as we hear, you will too! “
