I hate AUD, The first thing I did, which you can probably tell from my signature line, is switching from Gleim to Yaeger. The videos made the difference for me. I watched them all on a slightly faster speed, so I could watch an hour in about 45 minutes. Doesn't sound like much, but when you have 20 hrs of video, it cuts 5 hrs off. For BEC, I made 4 (one sided) pages of notes. For example, one page of all the ratios. Once I started the exam, I regergitated those 4 pages onto my scrap sheet. I knew all of that info, but it is much easier to look at it and keep it clear on paper. I did tons of multiple choice, and focused on WHY the wrong answers were wrong. In the videos, Cindy says “if A is not the correct answer, then it is typically the most common wrong anser, so be careful”. What a great piece of advice. Also, not only did I focus on where I did poorly, I also lightly reviewed where I did well.
REG and AUD were similar strategies (videos, note sheets etc.). After I failed AUD the 2nd time, I just did hundreds of MCQ, focusing on my problem sections.
I didn't “read” the book much. I do better listening. Sometimes the Yaeger instructors are hard to listen to, but they often have gems of wisdom. I could go on and on, but no one likes to read long posts.
