For me, BEC was the worst of them all, I got a 74 the first time through, it was devastating.

Almost done though just waiting for Audit, I took it 5/17. It was supposed to be on 5/15 but of course the ProMetric servers were down and they canceled the test.

    FAR: 81

    BEC: 84

    REG: 90 (I'm a tax guy)

AUD: ?? (I JUST WANT IT TO BE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

…nothing yet for me for AUD in IL.

    (IL) / BEC - 81 (2/20/10) / AUD - 94 (4/19/10) / REG - 86 (5/24/10) / FAR 96 (10/18/10) / DONE

Does anyone have tips for AUD? Taking it this week. I used Becker to prepare – I feel as though it is not that hard and did well on the Becker hw's, but did HORRIBLE on the practice tests! And I mean horrible!

    Any tips would be great…

determined – drill the practice exams over and over and over again until you know those MC questions inside and out!

I agree with bjc135. The key is repetition.

repetition and memorize the opinions, they are the key to everything.

my suggestion would be to use the current Wiley MC Question and Simulation book. I feel the questions and explanations are much more thorough and representative of a wider array of material vs. the Becker Questions. The Becker questions are very narrow with respect to the topics covered.

The hardest thing about AUD is figuring out what the question is really asking. When I took AUD on May 4 if I didn't clearly know which was the correct MC answer, I was at least able to narrow it down to 2 choices. I found the sims pretty straightforward and not too hard at all. The Wiley book is very good. The way I used it was to go through all the MC questions once, then do the ones I missed another time. I didn't feel that I needed to repeat the ones I already knew well. I also worked all the sims once. The thing that helped me the most was to create my own 20-page summary of AUD, which caused me to have to know it in order to make it. Then I went over it again and again.

One more thing about the AUD exam – I found that I had lots of time and did not need to hurry at all. I finished about 1.5 hours ahead of the deadline, and took my time. So don't worry about the time for AUD. You will be able to mark any questions that you are not sure about and have time to go back and think about them some more.

agreed with the time comment. I was done an hour and a half early too. I was also hungry towards the end and may have rushed through some stuff but was done with the MC in little over an hour and the sims were sims, no different then the becker stuff. i hope i passed 🙂 and didn't rush through the test too carelessly.

Has anyone received a score? California or Illinois? I really want my PASSING score tonight. I do not want to fail again.

I am taking it for Alaska(don't ask) and I have not yet received the score. Tried the loophole and that is still greyed out but not getting too excited just yet about it. If it is still greyed out tomorrow afternoon and I have not gotten a score should I be happy or could it still just be that I had a new simulation and it really means nothing?
