martha1084 – thanks for the words of encouragements. I wish I could understand why I can't seem to pass any of these tests. I feel it is the luck of the draw with the tests you get and since I am a lousy gambler, it shows in my test scores. My husband wants me to give up since I spend every waking hour studying and end up being left defeated and crushed after days of misery waiting for the scores. I always considered myself smart – so why can I not defeat this beast??? And to top it – 2011 will have all the IFRS on it…. as if this is not enough info to know already. A 56 c'mon – that's what I expect to get without studying – at this point I really do not like Becker. In my mind it is just money wasted. Any suggestion on what else to use instead?

Magster – nope, no luck on my end. I am using Becker as well, and I think it did a great job with Reg, pretty good for Audit, but lousy for BEC. I already purchased Yaeger to retake BEC sometime this summer. I had 5 verbatim Becker Q's on my Audit exam and I still bombed…so don't fell too bad. And def don't give up. I'm in the same boat as you trying to conquer 3 exams in the next 6 months.

@ magster- I agree with you it depends on the test version you get. The score does not represent how smart an individual is. Nor is failing. I took AUD two times and passed it the second time. I felt the version on the second try was much easier (especially the simulations). Did you struggle during the MC and simulations?

@FL_CPA2010… i totally understand your frustration! i prepared very well for AUD (did ALL the Becker MC multiple times) and walked out thinking I had passed without a doubt! I ended up with a 71. I retook it 4 months later but it was about 10 days after I took BEC and I barely studied thinking it would all come back to me and when I realized that wasn't the case, I tried to cram a few days before taking it again. I basically reread the book, didn't have time to go through questions. I walked out knowing I had failed without a doubt but my score actually went up 11 points! Unfortunately, it's all about luck! :/ Keep at it and you'll get it!
