I just went to go schedule FAR and all locations within a 200 mile radius are booked. Not a single day open. But oddly, it wouldn’t let me schedule anything past July. Wouldn’t let me even look past July. Why is that?

i think it's because everyone that just took their exams in Q2 that fail, just reschedule their exams. I just checked in my area too, there's one test date available in july -____- Maybe they need to start opening up more test centers haha

That would explain the no availability of seats but what about the inability to not schedule past July? Before, you can look and book many months in advance. All prometric locations won't let me look past July. July is the last month in their calendar.

i can see the other months… try refreshing? and yeah it kind of sucks with no test dates available, but just keep checking! maybe someone will rescheduled

That's pretty weird … Check again, it may be the site at the time.. I'm able to see appointment dates up to October

I just checked the prometric sites on my area and 2 of the 3 closest location to me are full for July & August. The third one has dates available on July but they're afternoon times. I wish I could pay for NTS today, but have to wait till tomorrow. Keep checking the site though, a lot of people reschedule, so something might open up.

Checked again this morning. It still won't let me look past August. The screen is just showing me Dates for June July August. Would not let me look into September and onward. Only one date opened up for me in the 200 mile radius and it is 5 weeks away. Hopefully that is enough for FAR.

Well the next 2 windows will be rush hour, somebody will cancel. so keep checking, and studying, and your 35 bucks ready if you get a date and need to change.

This happened last quarter in the CA bay area … days started to open up as the window start got closer. I think they open more days and that people end up not being ready to test on the day they selected initially. It will open up, just keep your eye out.

Wow, I am an idiot. I can't think straight with all this studying. But, thanks to melissahoff, I found out why I can't schedule anything past 7/16/16…that is the day my NTS expires. Still odd though, because it shows the calendar up through August. But regardless, that is probably why lol.

Oh yeah. If your NTS expires by a certain date you wont be able to see any dates past that. I usually just do seat availability to see what all is open without entering my NTS number.

Another thing to remember is that prometric also has other students take exams and not just a CPA designated testing center. So, they might only have so many seats for CPA exam candidates.
