I dont know if its true for all states but in Pennsylvania you need 150 credits in order to obtain a CPA license. I graduated with a bachelors degree in accounting but only have 134 credits. Does anybody know what those additional credits I will need have to be in? Do I need more accounting credits or can they be anything?

As long as you have what is listed under PA education requirements you should be good. The rest of the credits can be obtained in anything for the most part. Just make sure the school / course is accepted beforehand (I recommend emailing your state board). See the link below for PA education requirements.

    Education Requirements for the Examination

“A Baccalaureate degree from a college or university accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, and completed at least a total of 24 semester credits, which credits shall be in accounting and auditing, business law, finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics or tax subjects of a content satisfactory to the board, not necessarily as a part of your undergraduate work.”

    FAR - 76 (Lost credit), 76
    AUD - 80
    BEC - 76
    REG - 75

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Does anybody know if college internship credits count towards the 150 minimum? My transcript shows 134 course hours but next to that in total column it shows 148.5 because of internships I did every summer.
