Is it possible to get one hard testlet and still fail? Does that seem uncommon or no?

I believe it can happen, but gauging testlet difficulty is extremely subjective (at least on our end). Every test I've had so far (except reg) felt Easy Medium Easy. I think If you kill the 1st, and get wrecked on the 2nd two it could bite you.

I have a hard time judging testlet difficulty. However, I'm pretty sure I got 3 medium testlets for FAR and still passed

Sorry to hijack the thread but how did FAR go @claudia you never did post an update (or I missed it!) hope well 🙂

NancyD8- only exam I ever was able to tell whether my testlet got harder or not was AUD- my second one just made me want to cry it was so hard… third one was about like the first so clearly I “blew it” and still passed.

I'm pretty sure I got medium-hard-medium testlets in AUD and failed by 1 point. I got comparable for MCQs and got weaker for SIMS though.

Yeah normally I can't tell at all, but on Audit I felt great about the first testlet and the second was like impossible! Definitely was a hard second testlet for sure the questions were also about twice the length as the first and third.

@mckan – FAR was doable but I kinda panicked and didn't leave enough time for SIMs, around 90 minutes. Sounds like sufficient time but not for me, I think need more like 2 hours. I got 1 true DRS sim and 2 other SIMs that required looking at other tabs and sources so it's kinda like a DRS. I have to keep TABBING and it's hard for me to weed through the info and instructions. I couldn't even find the Research! I do feel good about MCQs but bottom line, probably gonna have to retake in January. 🙁 I am doubting if I can pass all 4 exams before I lose credit in April.

@Needsa75 – curious… I thought you couldn't get a weaker/comparable combo and pass, I thought the stronger HAD to cancel the weaker in order to pass but that's actually good news… It's possible!

And as for the whole weaker/stronger/harder/easier thing I think its all bunk 😉 I had stronger straight across in BEC and still failed (don't get me started) and I would have sworn my REG exam went Medium/easy/easy and I passed…

@Claudia408 I've never heard that you need a combo like that to pass. All I know is what the score report said…Weaker overall MC and comparable sims…and a 76 overall score

I took AUD October 18th testlet in my opinion was Easy, Medium or Easy, and HARD

my last score report in AUD I tested stronger in 5/6 topics weaker in one topic for MCQ and Weaker in Sims and scored a 73

I do not know how this thing is graded 🙁

@needsa75 – i never heard it either, i was just thinking that comparable is about 75, and weaker must be less than 75. so with the weighting how can one get 75 or better? but mckan is right, that score report is BUNK, lol. you passed so who cares! 🙂
