Lol. It is a holiday, so there are probably less people online.

The Ninja Notes covers the important topics on the exam.

    This recent thread is helpful.

    https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/you-know-youll-pass-far-if-you

Government and Not-for-Profit is supposed to make 20% of the exam, so that is important.
IFRS is supposed to make up 10% of the exam, so that is important.
Journal entries, Statement of Cash Flows, and Stocks might be important.

Good luck, tomorrow. Journal entries will definitely be helpful to remember.

woawww @Sang that 10% IFRS figure is terrifying.i hope it is not as high.

all that the CSO's tell me is:
“Identify and understand the differences between financial statements prepared on the basis
of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (U.S. GAAP)
and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).”

    https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/ExaminationContent/ContentAndSkills/DownloadableDocuments/CSOs-SSOs-Effective-Jan-2016.pdf

that is pretty vague, with no corresponding percentages. but given the importance becker places on the IFRS differences(they are peppered throughout the book and each chapter has an IFRS differences appendix) i HOPE it is as little as 10% and not more- bcz i am pretty much ignoring it for my studies. i know what GAAP Is and will deduce IFRS treatment on exam day from there if need be is how i am approaching it.

I use Roger CPA Review course, and he stated that Government and Not-for-Profit makes up about 20% of the exam, and IFRS makes up about 10% of the exam. That is a total of about 30% of the exam.

Assuming that these percentages are true, and you get all of the questions that deal with Government, Not-for-Profit, and IFRS wrong, then you won't be able to get more than 70% of the exam correct.

@Eesti: I recommend that you spend more time studying IFRS. I think it can be the difference between passing or failing the exam.

Wow what a crappy experience. I went through the first 3 testlets no problem (got at least 85% of multiple choice right) and then arrived at the simulations with an hour and a half remaining. I used the entire hour and a half and couldnt finish so I just guessed on 3 whole ones real quick. I did the research one first and it took me almost 20 minutes. Then I misread the directions on the first 2 so had to do those ones twice. I feel pretty confident that I got 4 of the 7 right (90% average and including the research one) however i feel like i got about 25% average on the last 3 that I had to guess. I had so much additional information that becker didnt prepare me for in their practice simulations which overwelmed me and stole most of my spare time away. I hope one of the ones I guessed was a pretest. Does anyone know if all the simulations, excluding the pretest one, are of equal value?
