    Hey everyone,

I’m taking BEC on 1/3 then AUD on 3/6. I have two year end audit clients – so I’ll be pushing 60-65 hour weeks. For what it’s worth – I will get to see both an AICPA and PCAOB audit at my big four firm before test day and within the review period.

With two months for aud, I’m considering ditching lectures all together – doing MCQs and referencing the book (Becker) as I do them. I’d move into progress tests/quizzes early and loop MCQs until test day.

Think that’s best or should I stick to the standard? My normal method is to go lecture – hw lecture – hw, not sure what others feel is right.

Since you are an auditor (which helps with the SIMs a lot, especially those tickmarks ones), I would do a session of 30 first and see how comfortable you are with the material. The biggest mistake with AUD is underestimating how much theory that goes into the concepts. If not, I would read the book to get an idea. Though, it did help so much from an auditing background, like those random DOL questions.

I think if you have audio and listen to it everyday while doing questions, you should have a good chance in passing it.
