I’ve been pretty strong throughout this CPA process but I’m literally on a verge of an anxiety attack and could use some encouragement while I study for REG. My exam is June 4th and I am finishing R4 this week but for some reason I just don’t feel like I have enough time going forward. Next week I’m going to study for R5 and R6 and the week after I’m doing R7 and R8 to give myself a solid 2 weeks for review before my exam.

I’m just getting discouraged because I’ve gotten slammed at work for the past 3 weeks (it should be better this week), ended up getting sick last week which left me no motivation to study this weekend and I just haven’t had the time to digest everything I’ve learned so far especially R3 and R4. On top of that I get my Audit retake score this Thursday and I think that’s adding on to my worry as well. I literally just broke down crying a few minutes ago. Someone please just encourage me 🙁

SlowZhu – don't get discouraged. try sticking to one topic that you are having trouble with, such as partnerships, and review and take notes until you feel it click. jumping from entity to entity type makes it all a blur. don't rush it. give yourself a chance and let the information in. good luck!!

@monikernc, thanks. I keep telling myself, everyone could be discouraged during this process, I am no more or no less than anyone else. May the 4th be with us, good luck on your Reg.

we do get discouraged at times. it is normal. but you cannot allow it to prevent you from learning. don't fight the material. read the questions and all of the answers to understand the concepts. the mcq's are a learning tool and you will improve as you progress. remember it is easier to recall and apply information that you have learned rather than memorized. you can and will do this!

You guys are so awesome, thank you! I took your advice and took a night off to rest and get my mind right. I am feeling much better and I am back on track with studying – I'm just pacing myself a little better and not rushing anything. We can do this!!
