I just took REG using Roger CPA Review. I work in advisory and have zero experience in tax. My Becker material expired and I decided to switch it up for REG. I saw some of Roger’s sample videos for FAR on youtube and I loved it so decided to use him for REG. I had 3 weeks to study for the test.. and I got a 93, my highest score and the least amount of time spent studying. Roger is cheaper than Becker but if he charged 20 times more than Becker I would still 100% recommend using him. If only he made CFA and GMAT review courses….wow. Thank you Roger, from the bottom of my heart.

@jerumie – that's actually a really good point you make about getting in the 90s thanks to a particular review course (or not). I think to get a score in the 90s, one has to really, Really, REALLY know the stuff super well. But in the end, a pass is a pass. Does anyone care about what score anyone got, as far as getting jobs or advancement within a company? I'm guessing not but I do not know for sure.

@TBBG – I was only joking, of course Roger is not in disguise on here, he has better things to do with his life (like nothing, since he's rich haha.) I am not discounting anyone else's opinion or the experience they had with his courses. But, it does seem that most of those who like him didn't have a very great distance to get to four scores of 75+. This is just what I've noticed after like 2 years of reading these forums. But, it seems to be carved out for a certain kind of individual whereas some of the other courses like Ninja or even Gleim are better for people coming from different backgrounds who don't quite have what it takes to knock all 4 out in a short time. Roger is da man, he's a trip. I don't hate him or anything.

I had no background in accounting and was able to pass all with Roger review. I work full-time and have a busy life. I actually enjoyed his video a lot. I don't think that I would be licensed without his review. But everybody is different. Finding the review or study method which works the best for you is the key to the success.

Lot's of people pass with Roger – he's a great instructor, and there are a lot of people on here using his course.

Some may prefer other courses – just like some may prefer other courses to NINJA (blasphemy!!!) 🙂 .

I'm not really sure why TBBG (the OP) bumped the thread, however after more than a year.

    No drama, please.

@jeff, Hope all is well. I want to start by apologizing for starting drama, it was not my intention. The reason I bumped the thread was because I kept seeing multiple posts of people complaining that they couldn't sit through some of the other review courses and were having extreme trouble passing, so I suggested they check out my old post and I bumped it to give people the Roger option, since most people don't really know about it. I was simply trying to be helpful for those who needed a fresh take.
By the way, I loved your MCQs and summary notes, couldn't have passed the tests without it!I strongly recommend people try Jeff's review as well!!
