So I’m in the process of studying for my third attempt at REG. My last attempt I felt like I was strong at the MCQ’s and weak in the sims. One area I was weak in I feel like should be simple. The tax code look-ups ALWAYS give me fits! I have tried every angle from doing advanced search with multiple key words to general search with just one word. My friend suggested just getting a feel for the index and just manually looking it up rather then searching. I have tried that as well with little to no success. Every search pulls up tax laws that are not even close to relevant. When I do decide to give up on them when studying I look up the answer and sure enough the tax law does have all the key words that I searched but for some reason isn’t pulling up?!
Does anyone have advice on their approach? FAR had a similar codification look-up and I found that to be extremely easy.
