Hi guys,

I know that this is the type of post a lot of people post but was wondering if you guys think i have a chance to pass REG. Overall i felt the mcq were not terrible but i did flag about 15 out of the 72 because some of the material was not seen in the becker review. I thought the testlets got slightly harder but still there were a few very easy straightforward questions in all testlets.

SIMS were mostly all hard. I got the research correct forsure and was 85% confident with about two of the sims. One of them i completely guessed on and threw zeros in the blanks. Overall, SIMS completely discouraged me and because i wasnt confident with ALL mcq i dont think i passed. Anyone have a similiar experience and passed?

I wouldn't count yourself out yet! I think most people will agree with me that REG has some of the hardest sims out of all the exams. You have to remember that there are multiple throw out questions and 1 throw out simulation. Try not to think about it (I know easier said than done), but there's nothing you can do about it now but wait until score release. Good luck, I hope you pass!

Sounds like a run of the mill SIMS experience to me. There was always one no-idea-WTF question, a couple I was comfortable with mostly, and then one or two maybe half credit. I only found the research question for REG.

@safebandit did you feel comfortable with all the mcq and did your testlets get harder or somewhat the same?

Honestly, I never could gauge the testlet thing. I see people say things like “my testlet definitely got harder because my questions were longer and wordier.” I never got questions on any test that were super wordy. In fact, all my questions on AUD were so short and to the point I was convinced I failed it. I flagged probably 30 for AUD and it was my highest score.

I definitely flagged some mcq on REG – about the same amount as you.
