I’ve been out of school 7 years now. Undergrad and grad degree in Accounting, and I’m on my way to CPA this year.
I’ve gotten somewhat bored working at a large corporation. It’s extremely flexible and stable so can’t complain there. Have held roles (individual contributor and supervisory) in cost/mgmt accounting and internal audit.
Feeling in somewhat of a “rut” now. Even once I do get my CPA, I’m not sure what I want to do with it or where I’d want to advance. I love working with people (worked in retail through college), and sitting behind a desk burns me out.
Any ideas for fun/non traditional roles using your accounting degree?
