Odd Behavior: Good or Bad?

So I am extremely lucky, in that I get to study at work. Typically anywhere from 4-6 hours a day. As such, studying has become such a large part of my daily routine. I sat for Aud 10/23/16 and, like many, am awaiting my score. I find myself wanting to maintain the same schedule as before and jump right into FAR studying. Does my eagerness to move right into studying the next section seem odd, and will it have negative impact on my mindset and cause me to burn out quickly? I like the idea of keep on keeping on but I don’t want to burn myself out making myself less likely to complete the exam. I know it is a marathon not a sprint. Advice appreciated.

After all of my tests, I gave myself 1-2 weeks off, and then I started studying on the next one.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried!

    AUD: 83 (04/11/16)

I wouldn't say it's odd to jump right into the next section. It really depends on what your testing/study schedule looks like. Mine was set in stone from May 1, 2015 through November 29, 2015, so as soon as I took FAR on July 2nd, I started getting ready for AUD the next day.

Not at all. Once I know my score on Friday, I will be TOTALLY driven to study more if I pass. If I don't, I get to sulk, MAYBE for like half a day. LOL. When I found out I passed FAR, I didn't even myself a break that day and kept going at AUD.

I like the idea of being driven and keeping the studying as part of my routine so that I never fall behind, but I just want to avoid burning out. Not sure if anyone else has ever succumb to the monotony and burned out.

If you have the energy and the enthusiasm to dive right back into studying, then do it. It's a lot harder to keep going when you aren't feeling it than when you are — and you have too much invested not to keep going, regardless of how excited or exhausted you happen to feel at the time. Take advantage of those times you are feeling confident and driven so you won't feel quite so bad about slacking a bit when your energy wanes and you decide you'd rather spend an evening wallowing with ice cream and Netflix instead of working on your thirteen billionth practice sim.

Also, because you're able to study at work, jumping right back into it demonstrates your commitment to passing the exam and shows that you're not taking the free time for granted.

I didn't take time off between tests. I immediately started studying for the next one, which actually means I had to assume I passed even if i felt like I probably didn't (I'm looking at you, FAR and REG). I always treated myself to a good meal out the night of the test and then started studying the very next night.
